Players exploring the grand halls of the castle in the Resident Evil 4 Remake will eventually run into a tricky puzzle involving Ashley Graham and a large grandfather clock. This puzzle, which takes place in the Clockwork Hallway, requires you to manipulate the clock's hands to open a hidden passage. If you are stuck, here is the straightforward solution.
To solve the puzzle, you need to set the clock's hands to match the time shown on a nearby note. The note, which you find on a table in the same room, displays a drawing of the clock with the hands pointing to 11:04. Interact with the clock and rotate the hour hand to 11 and the minute hand to 4. Once both hands are in the correct position, the clock will chime, and a section of the wall will slide open, revealing a ladder.
Climbing this ladder leads you to a new area where you can continue the story. It is a simple but easy-to-miss puzzle if you do not find the note first. Just remember the time: 11:04. That is all you need to get past this part of the castle and keep moving forward.
