"Big Walk" Lets You Stroll and Chat in a New Co-op Adventure

June 13, 2026 - 16:40

The team behind the acclaimed "Untitled Goose Game" is back with something completely different. House House, the Melbourne-based studio, has announced "Big Walk," a cooperative video game that strips the genre down to its simplest elements: walking and talking.

Unlike the chaotic goose simulator that made them famous, this new title focuses on a group of friends embarking on a long hike together. Players control one of four characters as they traverse a scenic, open landscape. The core mechanic is communication. You and your companions must talk to each other to navigate the terrain, solve light environmental puzzles, and decide where to go next. There are no enemies to fight, no complex skill trees, and no time limits.

The game is designed for online co-op, encouraging real conversation between players. Each character has a distinct personality, and the dialogue is meant to feel natural and unscripted. The art style retains House House's signature minimalist charm, with bright colors and simple shapes creating a world that feels both inviting and slightly surreal.

"Big Walk" is set to release later this year on PC and consoles. It promises a relaxed, social experience that prioritizes connection over competition. For anyone tired of high-stakes battles and endless loot, this might be the perfect excuse to just take a walk with a friend.
